Hi folks, We are under construction right now, but you should start seeing solid content here is the next few days, for now, here is a little bit about what you can expect:
This is my take on Oshkosh. I am a longtime resident, with a short lapse to Madison but as far as I can tell, I am here to stay.
I know I know, there are several blogs about Oshkosh that cover things pretty well. I see them and I appreciate them, but my perspective of the city and what it holds are sometimes not what you would expect.
I love food. I have a world of appreciation for the culinary scene in town and would love to bring you the inside take on places here as for every business that has an interesting product, there is a backstory that has twice the entertainment value.
I love cars, things that go vroom vroom. race gas and tire smoke are my aphrodisiacs, and I enjoy long walks at carshows.
I like to take pictures, it is a hobby, sometimes I get paid, but really I do it because I enjoy it or to help somebody out.
I get around, I do run one noteable event in Oshkosh, a large VW/Audi show called Dubs In the Valley which has lead into becoming a helper to many other events in the midwest, which suits me fine, when I go somewhere cool, I'll take you with me and hopefully show you something neat from there.
You can expect to see, local people of interest as this city is full of some brilliant people. Some that I know from around, some that I have yet to meet, but the sampling of talent in all forms of the arts per capita is astronomical, some that do things with a nationwide impact that you didn't even know lived here or existed, some that could be considered local celebrity. Some nobody may know but their friends and family, but if they do something I think is neat, you can bet I'll try and get it on here for you.
